Our Wedding

Seth and Abbie first met at UGA on snapchat. Both of them did not receive G-Day tickets (spring football scrimmage game) and Seth posted about it on the Class of 2024 page asking if this had happened to anyone else. Abbie responded and said she did not receive any, and this struck up a lasting conversation between the two. Seth took a liking to Abbie, and asked if she would like to hang out and go on a date. She said no. She did, however, agree to meeting at a dining hall for dinner. This is where their love story began.

The Beginning

Seth and Abbie's very first date took place at the dining hall in East Campus Village. They sat at a corner table and talked, and talked, and talked. Both enjoyed each other's company, and Seth asked if she wanted to hang out again where she finally said yes.

Baylee May is one of my best friends going on 13 years! We first met in 3rd grade but did not become close until 5th grade. We have gone to school together from elementary all the way through finishing our undergraduate degrees together at UGA! She has been through every major stepping stone in my life, and somehow still can't seem to get rid of me :)

Brooke Botts is one of my best friends going on 12 years! We first met in 6th grade and have been inseparable since! We have gone to school together from 6th-finishing undergraduate degrees together at UGA! She is the life of the party, and will always bring joy and a big smile into my life!

Sophia is one of my best friends going on 2 years! Sophia and I first met at UGA when she was taking over my bedroom in the FABBRSS apartment when I moved for Grad School. She joined Baylee and Brooke in their adventures during their last year at UGA, and quickly became a valuable member of our friend group!

Selah is equally one of my best friends as my Bridesmaids are! Selah and I first met in the nursery at The Journey Hiram 10 years ago when she was just old enough to be left in our care during services. She has grown up to be the most independent, loving, brave, and kindhearted girl! She is my mini-me and I am so excited to play dress up with her one more time on March 28, 2026!

Just kidding he'd probably lose the ring! Solomon is our cat who joined the family July 31, 2023. He is a burnt rotisserie chicken who thinks he is a dog. He loves to bake in the sun and have a sassy attitude come meal time. He will let you know when he needs something or doesn't like something, and will bite you as a way to say I love you. We love you too Solomon!

Don't worry she won't take too big of a bite out of the wedding cake! Lassy is our somewhat gentle giant who joined the family a few months before Solomon and I. She is our lap cat, yes I do mean cat. She acts like any 80 lb animal would, and wants to snuggle right on top of you against your will, but she's cute so it's okay! She loves to watch your food for you, and makes sure you know she didn't take any.

A microwave and a small refrigerator are found in each room at the Days Inn Clayton. Rooms are also equipped with cable TV and tea and coffee- making facilities. Truck and RV parking is provided to the guests of the Clayton Days Inn. A 24-hour reception is offered for added convenience. Dining and entertainment of Franklin city center are 30 minutes’ drive from the property. Rabun County Civic Center is 1 mile away

With a total of 8 accomodation units, this is a nice place to stay. In addition, Wi-Fi access is offered at the establishment's common spaces. The reception does not work around the clock. All guests staying at this property arriving by car may leave their vehicle at the accommodation's parking spaces.

We have chosen Garden Party Formal to match with the timeframe of our wedding. Our wedding is being held as the blossoms are beginning to bloom and spring colors begin to shine! We encourage guests to wear fun spring colors. Our dress code:-Spring colors-No revealing clothing please. There will be children and teenagers and we would like to set a good example for them-Shoes that you are comfortable in! We will be dancing!-Skinny heels not advised while outside-No plain white, cream, champagne, or dusty rose dresses-No jeans-Men please wear a button up shirt, no polos We want this day to feel special for everyone, and part of that for us is looking the part! We want our guests to get to step into our fairytale wedding and be able to enjoy dressing up as much as Seth and I do!

Garden Party

Invitations and Plus ones:	Due to strict head counts and pricing, plus ones cannot be accommodated at this time. If this changes you will personally be let known. Seth and I are hosting a very intimate ceremony and reception and are both trying to not go into huge debt over the wedding. With this we can only invite so many people. All guests invited are individually written on the delivered invite. If uninvited plus ones join you on the wedding day we will kindly have to ask them to leave. No exceptions. Attire: 	We will have children present at our wedding. They are looking up to the adults around them, and learn from them as well. We would like everyone to be comfortable, but if you wouldn't wear it around family our wedding is not the place to wear it either. Please refer to the garden party tab for any information regarding what the dress code is. Although we do not expect anyone to go out of their way for expensive attire, we do expect the dress code to be followed. RSVPS:	Due to the limited guest count we expect all RSVPs to be submitted by January 31 so we can finalize our head count, get lists to vendors, and arrange seating. Anyone not reserved by this point will be manually declined on our end. We will celebrate with you at another time, as we are not going to be paying any rush or late fees due to waiting for a response. We get life gets busy, and that is why we sent invites with 2+ months (depending on the postal office speed for delivery) for calendar planning and reservation. Ceremony and Reception: 	-We have hired a photographer and 2 videographers. We will have a moment at the end of our ceremony with a staged kiss for cellphone pictures, but please no phones as the ceremony is taking place. We want you to soak up the moment and be present with us. We will gladly make time for your pictures if you will make time to enjoy our day with us!	-Please keep in mind we will be on grass for the ceremony. Ladies we don't want your heels to sink in the dirt!	-Speeches will be planned. Please no unplanned speeches.	-No Proposals. We payed a lot for this day. Don't ruin it. Pay for your own proposal please &lt;3 :)	-We will have a play and no play list for music. Please don't harass the DJ. They will play our important music first and make space for requests as available. If it is on the no play list that means it will not be played. You can listen to it on the way home in the car later!	-Speaking of music it's a party! Don't be lame come dance with us on the dance floor! No judgement from me my moves are awful!	-Leave the drama at home! You will be asked to leave otherwise.	-No innapropriate behavior or foul language! That's a one way ticket to the car headed home. We will have children present. They are children. Not adults. They don't need to grow up faster than they already do watching poor adult behavior.	-No alcohol. We are not paying for a liquor license. Alcohol is expensive. We want you to remember our wedding. Bring a Smile! We are excited to have you all on our big day! We chose all of you for a reason. We love you and can't wait to celebrate.
